Sarah is a Senior Associate in the firm practising in the area of Dust Diseases litigation.

Sarah commenced her legal career working with a criminal Barrister as a research assistant from 1989 to 1993. From 1994 to 1996 she worked as a CTP Senior Claims Officer with Commercial Union Insurance Co and VACC Insurance. Sarah therefore has the benefit of having been a client to legal firms and has learnt from this perspective the needs of clients and appreciates the demands placed on them.

From 1996 to 1998 Sarah worked as a Solicitor in the Insurance Litigation Group of Barker Gosling. Her practice included personal injury matters in the Supreme and District Courts. The majority of her practice at Barker Gosling was for Comcare and she has extensive experience in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

From 1998 to 2007 Sarah was a Senior Associate at Hunt & Hunt Lawyers in the Insurance Litigation Group. The vast majority of her practice consisted Dust Diseases matters for GIO and NEM. She also had carriage of public liability files for the RTA and various local Councils.

Sarah joined Ellison Tillyard Callanan in April 2007. Sarah’s practice now is primarily in Dust Diseases of which she has eleven years experience.

Sarah was admitted to the Supreme Court in 1996 and holds Bachelor Degrees in Arts (majoring in Psychology) and Law from Macquarie University.
